
2021 WRYC Rentals
I am pleased to report that WRYC ended the 2021 year with a total of 28 rentals. The breakdown of rentals in 2021 is as follows: Non-member rentals - 14, Member rentals - 13, Non-profit rentals - 1. WRYC also hosted the National Albacore Regatta and our annual Governor’s Cup Regatta this year. It was a very busy year for our Club building. At this writing we have 9 rentals booked for 2022. Please continue to spread the word on what a great venue WRYC is.

Rentals - 2022 Already Filling Up!
I am pleased to report that 4 additional rentals have been added to the 2021 calendar. That brings the rental count to a total of 25 total rentals for 2021. As of this writing there are 9 rentals booked for 2022. Keep those celebrations coming.

Fall Rental Count
It will be a busy Fall with Rentals and Events at WRYC. We have 5 rentals scheduled for September and October. One rental in November. The hope is we will have a late September Club social as well as one October and the ever popular November Oyster Roast.
Please step up to help assist with the planning, set up, serving and clean up of these fun socials. Hope to see you on the Ware soon.

I am happy to report that with normalcy beginning to return WRYC has increased the rental numbers for the remainder of 2021. In April we had a total of 15 rentals for 2021. As of June 1 we have 23 rentals total for the 2021 calendar year. Keep spreading the word of “The Jewel on the Ware”. Happy Summer!

Virginia Master Naturalists Training
On April 24, 2021 WRYC supported the Middle Peninsula Chapter of Virginia Master Naturalists by allowing them use of your outdoor property for their Etymology, marsh, and water quality training. They shared with me that our property turned out to be an ideal spot for the educational goals of their training. Below are a couple of photos taken during their training session.
