Junior sailing is a great way for youngsters to young adults to learn how to sail and race. WRYC has offered a Junior Sailing Program since its inception in 1971. Our counselors are mostly alumni, and seek to teach sailors basics of rigging, launching, sailing and racing. We offer three 2-week sessions throughout the summer, but they fill up fast.

The minimum age requirement for these camps is 8 years of age by the start of the session.

The dates for the three 2026 sessions are as follows: All Sessions are Age 8 to 16 years old

Registration is OPEN to WRYC Members ONLY beginning March 1.
